The Ibizan actress and producer Bárbara Hermosilla has reached her dream of getting behind the cameras to shoot her first professional short film.
It is called La Lista and it has been filmed entirely in Ibiza and with an almost 100% Ibizan crew. Its story has been inspired by his maternal grandmother, Chelo Gómez, 93 years old, and it is starred by his own grandmother along with his paternal grandfather.
The short film addresses the loneliness of older people from a different point of view than usual. On this occasion, we see older people who feel alone, even though they are surrounded by their family and they look like they are in good health.
To finish off the project, the team has launched a crowdfunding to end the shooting and to be able to distribute the short film once finished. At the end of the period, they have raised more than 8.000€, a number above their set goal.
In the director’s words, “it has been very important to have a wonderful team for this project, who have believed in the idea from the beginning and who have always worked collaboratively”.
