A conference at the Carlos III University, the presentation of IBICINE at the Film Academy and the premiere of The Age of Wrath among the events attended by Andreu Fullana on his first official visit
Madrid hosts the first official visit of Andreu Fullana as the new director of the Film Commission of the island of Ibiza, a position he helds since February 1, 2022.
His visit to the city began at the Getafe Campus of the Carlos III University of Madrid, where he gave a conference on film tourism, entitled “Traveling through Audiovisual Fiction”. This talk was aimed at the university community and especially in the areas of Audiovisual Communication and Tourism. Its main objective was to show the possibilities offered by the Audiovisual industry in the promotion of tourist destinations such as the island of Ibiza.
The next day, Andreu Fullana attended the presentation of the V Edition of IBICINE at the Film Academy, where he accompanied Helher Escribano, director of the festival. At the event, the nominees for each category were presented in the presence of the representatives of each production and other guests, as well as the Ibizan authorities.
The last stop on his visit to the capital as the new director of the Ibiza Film Commission was Callao, where the premiere of Edad de la Ira was held last Wednesday, the new Antena 3 series based on the book written by the renowned Nando Lopez. This version stars, among others, Daniel Ibáñez, who also starred in the latest short film created and produced by Andreu Fullana, “Historias Encontradas”, shot last January in Mallorca. dir=ltr>“
“Attending these industrial events is a magnificent opportunity since it is the best way we have to promote the island of Ibiza within the audiovisual industry as an audiovisual dish. Despite the fact that when we talk about Ibiza it is one of the most Famous all over the world, if not the most famous, being able to talk face to face with producers, creators and other agents in the sector about what the island can offer them is an absolute privilege.”
