Ibiza Film Commission Strengthens Its International Profile at FOCUS London 2025

Ibiza Film Commission was present at FOCUS 2025, the international audiovisual market held at the Business Design Centre in London, one of the key events in the European calendar for professionals in film, television and audiovisual content. Participation in this strategic meeting strengthens Ibiza’s positioning as a competitive destination for international film shoots and co-productions.

During the event, Noemí Castro, Director of the Ibiza Film Commission, held meetings with international audiovisual industry professionals, including producers, film commission representatives, sales agents and financing executives. These meetings enabled the exchange of information on co-production opportunities, locations, tax incentives and filming support services, as well as the establishment of new contacts for future projects that may be developed on the island.

In addition to the meeting agenda, Ibiza Film Commission attended various talks and round tables that addressed some of the most relevant and current issues in the audiovisual industry. These included the evolution of international co-production models, the impact of tax incentives on attracting productions, and the incorporation of new technologies applied to audiovisual production, such as artificial intelligence, virtual environments and new sustainable workflows.
