Before that, it was the turn of the director of the Television Academy Géraldine Gonard and her MasterClass on ‘Management and development of audiovisual projects’
For yet another year, the Ibiza Film Commission team has participated in the conferences offered during the market or industry section of the Ibiza’s Film Festival Ibicine. This year IBICINE has count on the collaboration of Fiction Mallorca Pitch, an audiovisual MICE that was born in 2021 with the idea of focusing its activity on training, promoting and networking in the Balearic audiovisual sector.
On April 18th, the conferences for professionals began in the Ibicine market sessions. Its Project Forum selects in each edition, projects in the development phase that are tutored for their pitch presentation before the national film industry in Ibiza, in order to find a producer or possible financing.
On this occasion, it was Noemí Castro, the new head of the Ibiza Film Commission who gave yesterday the MasterClass ‘Markets and distribution of projects‘ during the professional sessions of the Ibiza IBICINE Festival, a Masterclass on sales, market, rights and audiovisual distribution.
Other activities that have been held during the market are the workshop on film and short film production and rating (April 18th also), given by Andreu Fullana, director of Fiction Mallorca Pitch; and, yesterday, April 19th, Geraldine Gonard, director of Conecta FICTION, also joined the session with a masterclass on project management.
These days, there will also be a round table on comedy, in which three experts in this genre will participate: Javier Veiga, actor and director of Friends until death; Javier Muga, director of the Cuenca Comedy Film Festival and David Mataró, film director and screenwriter.
