The activity, framed within the programming of the 2023 edition of IbizaCineFest, took place on February 24th and was attended by six guests.
In its commitment to support the film industry, IbizaCineFest carried out within its 2023 edition’s program a FamTrip to discover the potential of the island of Ibiza as a destination for national and international filming.
The activity took place on February 24th and was attended by Rafael Monés, producer of SICA FILMS; José Andreu, producer of SICA FILMS; Neus Ballú, director of EL QUINOGRAF FILMS; Genevieve Albert, director; Mariel Cordo, producer of PEGATUM TRANSMEDIA; and Marco Lledó, producer of PEGATUM TRANSMEDIA.
Among the enclaves that were visited during the day were the old town of Dalt Vila and some rural accommodation in the town of Balafia. In addition, with the aim of discover the island mainland, the more rural and “lesser-known” Ibiza, an organic farm was visited, where its director was in charge of showing the facilities and the work they do there.
After lunch, the caravan moved to some of the most typical places on the island, such as Cala D’Hort, where they were able to enjoy the wonderful sunset as they had never seen it before; and Las Salinas, with its incredible mountains of salt, beach and the old colony.
At the end of the day, the participants expressed their gratitude for all the places visited and the explanations received that helped them learn a little more about the history of the island.
