Ibizan screenwriter, producer and director Carmen Vidal has just won her 13th EMMY Award for her work on the public network Cuny TV. Vidal was nominated for three awards, of which she has won this one.
Carmen Vidal (Ibiza, 1981) has developed her career in the world of Television and American Cinema. For many years she has worked at local public television Cuny TV, a job that has brought her many recognitions for her social documentaries.
She has also exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMa). At the beginning of this October she offered a masterclass on Documentary Cinema in Can Ventosa (Ibiza) and she has in mind to soon develop projects here in Ibiza, her native island.
